Technology, whilr offering many benifits, has also transformed how kids see themselves, their peers, and the world around them, often amplifying stress and loneliness.
Dr. La Hoz will explore how digital connection and social media influence childrens brains and emotional well-being.
Parents wil leave with tools - and renewed hope - help their chidren navigate the digital age with strength and confidence. A Q&A will follow.

Young at Heart Ministry Presents: Healthy Isn't Hard with Christina Smith
Join Young at Heart Ministry for a presentation from Certified Nutrition Coach, Christina Smith. Christina will discuss controlling weight through nutrition and meal planning. Maundy Thursday Service
Taking place the Thursday before Easter, Maundy Thursday is a commemoration of the Last Supper. We will be holding a special service to worship and reflect on Christ’s sacrifice in preparation for Easter Sunday. We’d love for you to join us!
Alive @ Stone Soup Kitchen
We’ll be volunteering with Stone Soup Kitchen on April 1st. Stone Soup Kitchen is a ministry of Almost Home and exists to feed:
Our unsheltered friends
Our elderly community
Our food-insecure neighbors
Our working poor
And anyone looking for a hot meal and the love and companionship of a fellow human.
ALL are welcome and wanted.
There will be a sign up sheet in the lobby on Sunday mornings for anyone interested in helping us serve. We hope to see you there!
