Technology, whilr offering many benifits, has also transformed how kids see themselves, their peers, and the world around them, often amplifying stress and loneliness.

Dr. La Hoz will explore how digital connection and social media influence childrens brains and emotional well-being.

Parents wil leave with tools - and renewed hope - help their chidren navigate the digital age with strength and confidence. A Q&A will follow.

Alive @ Stone Soup Kitchen

We’ll be volunteering with Stone Soup Kitchen on April 1st. Stone Soup Kitchen is a ministry of Almost Home and exists to feed:

  • Our unsheltered friends

  • Our elderly community

  • Our food-insecure neighbors

  • Our working poor

  • And anyone looking for a hot meal and the love and companionship of a fellow human.

ALL are welcome and wanted.

There will be a sign up sheet in the lobby on Sunday mornings for anyone interested in helping us serve. We hope to see you there!
